Experts are contemplating whether SynthID could impact online advertising, potentially preventing ads from appearing on AI-generated channels. Arielle Garcia from Check My Ads mentioned that a successful rollout of SynthID may contribute to this aim, but without transparency around its metrics, there is a risk of providing false assurances similar to current advertising verification systems.

Trends in AI Use Among Freelancers

In a broader sense, new trends are emerging within the freelancing context, with a rise in the use of AI tools. According to a survey conducted by Fiverr involving 3,300 freelancers, the most recommended AI tools include ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Firefly. The report indicates a substantial increase in AI-related work across various industries, with programming and tech usage leaping from 10% to 86% in a year.

Freelancers seem to believe that AI significantly enhances their productivity, with two-thirds reporting improvements in their workflow. Yet, there are ongoing concerns related to privacy, and legal aspects surrounding AI-generated content, which freelancers are keenly aware of.
