New Features in Microsoft Copilot Studio
Publishing Custom Agents to Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
One of the most exciting updates allows users to publish custom agents created in Copilot Studio directly to Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. This feature, currently in public preview, enhances the customization and extension capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot. Agents can now use full functionalities offered by Copilot Studio within Copilot Chat.

Connecting Enterprise Data with Microsoft Graph
Understanding that enterprise data is vital for business, Microsoft has introduced new Microsoft Graph connectors for Copilot Studio and Copilot Chat. These connectors facilitate seamless integration with platforms such as Stack Overflow, Salesforce Knowledge, GitHub, and Unily, enabling agents to access relevant content quickly.
Development teams can now retrieve documentation and code snippets directly from GitHub, enhancing productivity and making it easier to resolve coding challenges. Teams can configure these connectors through the Microsoft 365 admin center and use them as Knowledge Sources within Copilot Studio.
Importing and Exporting Agent Components
A new feature called Component Collection is now available, allowing users to manage and transfer key agent elements—like topics and entities—across different environments. This streamlines the process of agent creation and ensures consistency in messaging and content.

Enhanced Security Features
Addressing concerns about cyber threats, Microsoft has implemented improvements to mitigate cross-prompt injection attacks (XPIAs). JavaScript Support in Microsoft 365 Agents SDK
Developers can now use JavaScript in addition to C# to create agents that improve user interactions and streamline business processes. The Microsoft 365 Agents SDK supports this capability, allowing developers to build more advanced features for their agents.
Updates to the Embedded Agent Builder
The embedded agent builder in Microsoft 365 Copilot has received significant enhancements. Agents can now reference specific public websites for grounded knowledge instead of conducting a full web search, ensuring that responses are both relevant and accurate.
