As each of these chatbot services pushes to improve, it’s interesting to explore their capabilities in various tasks such as writing emails, providing recipes, summarizing news, solving math problems, programming, and conducting mock interviews.
Email Writing
When tasked with creating a professional email requesting a project extension, all three chatbots delivered well-crafted responses. Each chatbot structured the email appropriately, allowing users to personalize it with specific details. In this particular area, Meta AI, ChatGPT, and Gemini excelled equally, showcasing their strength in generating clear and polite communications.
Cooking Recipes
For recipe recommendations, I asked each chatbot for a chili recipe. All three provided accurate and detailed recipes with slight variations based on their programming. Unfortunately, Google’s Gemini has not yet achieved the same level of consistency, suggesting it still has room to grow to compete effectively.
